Book Review February 2025- Quit Like A Woman
Quit Like a Woman is the book we all need in 2025. Whether you identify as a woman or not, this book provides fascinating insights on how marketing strategies have targets certain groups of people over time, and how marketers have used their powers for evil instead of good. From cigarettes to alcohol we (as humans) love giving ourselves permission to do something that might be seen as less than wholesome. This book investigates why we do that, how alcohol affects our multi-organ systems, and why we do things even when we know it’s bad for us. If you want to know more about the foundations of AA, recovery, decisions about harm reduction, and why we love feeling less of our real emotions, this might be a great book for your next read.
